We are now recruiting for a Receptionist for The Alpine Club Resort in Austria. The Alpine Club in Schladming/Rohrmoos was built in traditional Alpine style with its own leisure centre comprising of indoor pool, sauna, tennis court, playground, etc. and is a true family resort. Our guests and members enjoy winter skiing and summer outdoor mountain sports.

Tasks

As a Receptionist you will work within an enthusiastic and vibrant team to provide a 24 hour Reception service to our Guests and contribute to an overall exceptional experience from booking through to check-in and check-out.

The main job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Check in and check out guests
• Respond efficiently and professionally to guest’s queries, complaints and requests
• Ensure excellent customer service throughout the guests stay
• Working shift patterns in accordance with the rota including night shifts
• Adhere to audit procedures and handle cash payments and float in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

Skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Able to plan, organise and prioritise your workload, deal with tasks efficiently and effectively and have excellent attention to detail
• Possess good computer skills
• Be enthusiastic, dedicated to providing an excellent service, customer focused and possess a polite telephone manner
• Fluent in German and English

The role requires the successful candidates to work 40 hours per week as per the departmental rota, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Accommodation is available.
